Tag 4 of #13tagsofHalloween

Today’s tag is based on the theme… witches!

And do I have a tag for you! I know I say how much I love how certain projects turn out but y’all!!! This one is defiantly a favorite! I based my witches on Hocus Pocus. Here is the whole thing stacked up.

On the top tag I started with one of the word cards that says wonder. I felt this was a perfect thought with the young girl and black flame candle. Almost as if being curious was the down fall here. The paper doll and tag are covered with clear gesso so that the water color pencil had something to grab a hold of. I stamped the candle, witches hats, pumpkins, and potion jars from the Stamper’s Anonymous set Halloween Doodles. I thought these were perfect for this tag and theme.

The large tag base is a Tim Holtz Halloween Wallpaper die cut. I used the KISS technique to stamp my sentiment. I inked the “hocus pocus” in Antique Linen Distress Oxide. Then I inked up the Bubbles stamp with Villainous Potion and “kissed” the words to the bubble to pick up some of the Villainous Potion color. Then I splattered Distress Mica Stain over it. I layered the sentiment on to glossy black cardstock. At the bottom of the tag I added the Sanderson pumpkins and hats. I tucked in a potion bottle at the top.

The top back holds my interpretation of what happened to the Sanderson Sisters. In my story, after returning a second time they were captured in bottles. I added the fringe along the bottom after I sprayed it with Distress Mica Stain.
