Parting is such sweet sorrow

Hey y’all!

Today I’m sharing some final ideas using the 2019-2021 In Colors. These colors are retiring on May 3. To be really honest, I am devastated that we are loosing Seaside Spray. This is the perfect blue to use for shadows when coloring. It’s a very soothing blue that is simply stunning with Night of Navy. When we first got to see this set of colors, I was slow to warm up to them. Now I am so sad to see them leave us.
I am going to share two cards with you. If you look closely, you just might see some new Annual Catalog items as well. Here are today’s cards:

And a shaker card:

Details for today’s card

Let’s talk about the first card. It’s a mini slim line card. It focuses on the retiring Seaside Spray. The black and white paper is the …. from the January to June Mini catalog. The beautiful flower paper was part of Sale-a-bration.

I used the April Sheet Load of Cards sketch for this card. The saying is from the Succulent set in the old and new annual catalog. To make my pearls match, I used dark Seaside Spray blends to color them.
This next card has a little sneak peak of a new die set. I made a faker shaker in the heart window. I filled it with the retiring Woven Threads sequins.

I really am sad to see Seaside Spray leaving the color line up. I loved it so much. I hope that these projects inspired you to create something using Seaside Spray. When you do make sure to use the #alittlekindercreates to tag me. I want to see your creations!
